The Deaf Club offers the opportunities for deaf and hard of hearing people to reunite long lost friends; meet deaf and hard of hearing people with similar interests; possibility of meeting future partners, plan future events, talk with people with similar interests, forming sport teams, art clubs, developing self-confidence and other social skills.
The Deaf Club is vital for deaf and hard of hearing people's mental well-being because it allows them to have space to express and share their experiences in a safe and relaxed environment with people who have similar experiences to them.
Some evenings will be theme based (storytelling sessions, cultural jokes and other activities). It is open to all deaf and hard of hearing people as well as CODAs. Hearing parents of deaf children and adults are welcome to attend.
